An enormous spaceliner is yanked out of hyperspace, sending thousands to their doom. This book was interesting to the last page! I especially enjoyed the conflict between Lilac's feelings toward Tarver and her sense of obligation towards her father and society. These Broken Stars is a true thriller, a fantastic work of art from the distant future.
